The LG F3000 is a clamshell design, mobile phone with a 128 x 160 65K TFT display screen that runs on the GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 frequency network and has data transmission capabilities for GPRS and WAP 2.0. The F3000 also features a second external OLED display with 65 K colours, 96 x 96 pixels resolution and has downloadable wallpaper capabilities. The phone supports vibration alerts, downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, and has stereo speakers. The LG F3000 also has speed dialing for up to 8 phone numbers, supports 1000 phone book entries, photocall, 10 dialed / 10 received / 10 missed call phone call records and has a 31 MB internal memory storage capacity. The F3000 also has GPRS Class 10 (4 + 1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, Bluetooth® v1.2 and USB connectivity. It has SMS / EMS / MMS / Email capability and allow users to surf the Internet via is WAP 2.0 / xHTML web browser. The phone has Java application support, MP3 / AAC / WMA player, Karaoke, Voice Memo (for up to 10 x 20 second recordings) and an organizer. The mobile phone measures 87.9 x 43.9 x 23.9 mm and weighs 85 g. Its Li-Ion 1000 mAh standard battery is able to provide up to 200 hours of standby time as well as up to 3 hours of talk time.

The LG F3000 is a Sports-Car-Design music phone that features a 1.3 Megapixel camera that allows users to take pictures with a torch function that provides light in dark places when capturing images in low-light conditions. The LG F3000 has support for up to 1280 x 960 pixels resolution, 4 x digital zoom on its camera, a built-in LED flash that enables users to take photos even in dark locations, and a built-in MP3 player that supports MP3 and AAC files as well as MP3 as a ring tone. The F3000 also features Mobile Karaoke (optional), 40 Polyphonic Sound (15 Dual Speakers), MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) that allows users to send not only text messages, but also pictures and audio messages, Bluetooth® connectivity that connects to compatible devices like a wireless headset that allows users to answer the phone and share data wirelessly via the mobile phone and PC within up to 50 meters range at high-speed, and JAVA 2.0 for fun applications such as games and information while on the move.
