HTC Desire

The HTC Desire is a WCDMA/GSM mobile phone designed in a 135 grams (4.76 ounces) form factor that is powered by a 1 GHz processor, a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery (with 1400 mAh capacity) that provides users with up to 390 minutes (WCDMA)/400 minutes (GSM) of talk time and up to 360 hours (WCDMA)/340 hours (GSM) of standby time. The phone also features a 5 megapixel color camera with face detection capability, auto focus and flash, widescreen photo capture and geotagging capability. Input and output on the mobile phone include a 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, standard micro-USB (5-pin micro-USB 2.0). The Desire also features a G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor; HTC Widgets such as Bookmarks, Calendar, Clock, Footprints, Friend Stream, Mail, Messages, Music, News, People, Photo Album, Photo Frame, Search, Settings, Stocks, Twitter, and Weather; social networking function such as Facebook™ integration, Friend Stream, photo sharing on Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter, video sharing on YouTube™ and HTC Peep for twittering.

Features

The HTC Desire is a mobile phone has functions that automatically lower the ringer volume as soon as the phone is picked up and mutes the ringer when the phone is flipped face down. Users can also back up their data and settings to the microSD card (up to 32 GB supported) automatically, such as SMS/MMS messages, bookmarks, Wi-Fi passwords, and more. It features a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen with pinch-to-zoom capability that supports 480 X 800 WVGA pixel resolution, and runs Android™ 2.1 (Éclair) with HTC Sense™ operating system.
