One of the things that you will be sure to love most about the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 is its overall lovely design. In fact, its design is very fashionable, which just may be one of the reasons that you become attracted to the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 mobile phone to begin with. Is definitely suitable for any pocket or purse, with its thin design. Although the screen of the camera is relatively small, there are a variety of different qualities which makes up for this. There are two buttons on the phone which you are able to set to the functions which you tend to use the most, which seems to be very convenient for most people. The RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 has a pretty decent music player to offer you. One of the main benefits is the fact that you are able to set any song to be your ringtone. Unfortunately, this mobile phone is not very suitable for people who are interested in using their phone as their main source of photography. This is due to the fact that the built in camera that the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 has to offer is only decent. The mobile phone also does not have a video recording function, which is offered by most of the mobile phones that are currently out on the market. The battery on the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 has a pretty long life, even when you decide to play music for hours on end.

Overall, it is safe to say that the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 is an excellent mobile phone choice for anyone who wants a decent phone in general. However, the major quirk about this mobile phone is the fact that the camera is lacking, and that there is no video record function.

    30 April 2009

RIM Blackberry Pearl 8100 Smartphone Small, thin, compact yet astonishingly powerful is how we can describe RIM’s Blackberry pearl 8100. This is the smallest smart phone of the blackberry community to have hit the markets successfully. The handset is light weighted and can be operated with ease single handed. Blackberry pearl 8100 does satisfy the other [...] Read more

The Blackberry Pear gives you all the functions of its larger siblings without the bulk. It is easy to set up and use and won't ruin the line of your suit, although it might clash with the colour. Read more

Its a nice phone if it would work. I had to RMA this phone twice! The first one had a problem with the speaker. The second would not even charge! Now the third which worked for a week and a half is now charging half way then crashing and flashing a red light. Its impossible to get it to charge fully. Read more

Had this product come with directions, I would have rated it 5 stars. I was able to go on-line and find a couple of sites which explained how to remove the housing. The one thing I did not realize, before throwing the old housing away, was that I had to keep the tiny little microphone (needed to search for a picture so I knew what it looked like) out of the old housing and put it into the microphone holder of the new housing. Good thing we did not take the trash out to... Read more

Poor build quality. I have had this phone for 18 months on contract. The mini-USB socket has broken 3 TIMES, rendering the phone uselessbecause there is no other way to re-charge it. The back-up procedure is inadequate - the only way to read the back up is to have another Blackberry phone. Oh dear, my provider doesn't run to that, so every tiime the mini-USB socket breaks, I lose all my contacts ubtil the phone gets replaced ... unless iI copy all my contacts to the SIM... Read more
