A definite improvement on previous Curves, making it a worthy upgrade from earlier models, but the lack of 3G might annoy some. Read more
If you are looking for a good phone with plenty of features and that is cheaper than the Bold, you might like the Curve 8900…and you will fall in love with its long battery life. The Blackberry Curve 8900 is a stylish, practical and user friendly mobile phone with many great features. BlackBerry mobile phones are aimed towards the business user but the Curve really does offer much more to the user in the form of entertainment and personal use. The user can really stay on track and on route with the built-in BlackBerry Map system along with the |GPS which really are a great asset to have a mobile phone. But if the occasion of boredom does arise... Read more
But the phone isn’t perfect. It isn’t a mini clone of the Bold, it’s a different device, which might irk those who want or need faster data rates. Whilst the build quality is good all over, a few things niggle: some play in the keyboard, a common problem on previous Curves, and the catch on the back cover that seems a little too lightweight for the job. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 sounds like an appealing phone overall and it is, especially if you are an existing... Read more

This review is from: BlackBerry 8900 Curve SIM-Free Mobile Phone (Wireless Phone Accessory) This phone is very easy to use and has everything you expect in a Blackberry. Firstly the actual look of the phone is brilliant and it feels very well made in the hand. The e-mail is very easy to set up and the wifi connects quickly. The internet browser is amongst the best i've used due to the large, bright screen. The trackball can be a bit fidgety but it works well and the... Read more
I have been using the BB Curve 8900 for almost 8 months and really like it. It does everything i want it to do. If you want an MP3 player buy one, if you want to take pictures at gigs buy a digital camera. Highlight of this now is BB messenger which all my friends are on. The internet is slow and you cant multi-task web pages which is a bit of a downside. The trackball has gave no issues and i prefer to the trackpad as everyone i know who owns a BB 8520 or Bold 9700 have... Read more
Love the BB Curve 8900. I upgraded from the 8320 recently and have to say the 8900 is a class act. The phone runs much smoother than the 8320 and it takes great pictures as well. The main reason I upgraded was the GPS on this model. GPS is a huge deal for me, and I am glad T-Mobile finally got it together with a BB model that has everything I need. The only downside for me on the 8900 is the qwerty keyboard. They should have left well enough alone. The keys are even... Read more
Summary: Great little gadget especially if you write emails, but remember to get a Blackberry contract. Read more
