Just got my hands on this beauty two days ago as a free upgrade. the blackberry bold 9700 is a pretty easy phone to use. it was the first blackberry i have used, and while it took a couple of days to get used to how a blackberry works, it is not too difficult to navigate around. it is very good for internet, and while i havent used internet on my previous phones, i got a good package deal from orange, through whom i had upgraded. i dont know through experience, but i have been told the touch panel is much easier and reliable to... Won't write about legendary BB hardware and OS (now its better with OS 5) Jog dial then Track ball and now Track pad. Tho' trackpad was there in Samsung SGH i780 but BB track pad is a class apart. Absolutely flawless communication - Voice and Data both. BB should start providing a screen protector with the phone to protect that beautiful screen! Once a Bold user always a Bold user.... this smartphone is easy to use, looks beautiful and has all applications like the iphone. you can download all apps that are advertised for iphone... i had a touchscreen phone before this one and it was awful so go for classic!! Read more
