The Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS /HSM is hypersonic motor (HSM) super zoom lens that has a 35mm-equivalent focal range of up to 29-320mm (when Sigma mount is used) and it is exclusive to digital SLR cameras. The SLD glass elements utilized with the Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS /HSM compensates color aberration. A set of spherical lenses provide maximum correction for distortion and various aberrations and high image quality is displayed throughout the entire zoom range. The Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS /HSM equipped models makes fast AF speeds and quiet shooting a standard, and it is also capable of full-time manual focus. It has a minimum focusing distance of 45 cm at all focal lengths. It is also equipped with an integral Petal-type hood to block out extraneous light. This system also comes with Sigma’s own technology the OS (Optical Stabilizer) function.
