The Apple Mac Book has a 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with 1280 by 800 (native) resolution supported by NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory. It has extended desktop and video mirroring that simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 2560 by 1600 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors. The MacBook also has built-in iSight camera, Mini Display Port, 2.0GHz or 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache running 1:1 with processor speed, 1066MHz frontside bus, and 2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 4GB. The 2.0 GHz MacBook has built-in full-size keyboard with 78 (U.S.) or 79 (ISO) keys, including 12 function keys and 4 arrow keys (inverted “T” arrangement), while the 2.4GHz MacBook has built-in full-size illuminated keyboard with 78 (U.S.) or 79 (ISO) keys, including 12 function keys and 4 arrow keys (inverted “T” arrangement). The Mac Book measures 0.95 inch (2.41 cm) x 12.78 inches (32.5 cm) x 8.94 inches (22.7 cm) and weighs 4.5 pounds (2.04 kg).

Features

The Mac Book features solid-aluminum unibody enclosure, giving it a thinner, lighter durable look. It also features solid, responsive illuminated keyboard, and comes standard on the 2.4GHz MacBook model, compatible for low-light settings such as airports or lecture halls. It also features a trackpad that doubles as a button, as well as Multi-Touch gestures. Users can use two fingers to scroll up and down a page, pinch to zoom in and out, swipe with three fingers to flip through photo libraries, rotate to adjust an image with your fingertips and use four-finger swipe gesture, swipe up or down to access Exposé modes and left or right to switch between open applications. The Mac Book also features an LED-backlit display that is mercury- and arsenic-free. Other features on the Mac Book are a 320GB hard drive, an option to upgrade to a 128GB solid-state drive, which has no moving parts, for enhanced durability, 8x SuperDrive, two USB 2.0 ports to connect a wide variety of peripherals, Mini DisplayPort — for connectivity to the Apple LED Cinema Display, MagSafe power port for a trip-proof connection to safeguard system and valuable data and the Kensington lock slot to protect MacBook, battery, and hard drive.
