Love this I-pod dock! The sound quality of others in the price bracket was tinny and muffled compared to this. It even beat the logitec one for sound quality on sale for over $270. Base and clarity are two words that sum up the sound of this unit.

Simplicity is a big positive for it; 2 buttons, a power button and volume control. No alarm clock or fm radio which few would use anyway and no remote (it’s just another superfluous gadget to loose down the back of the sofa anyway.)

Sleek design, nicer on the eyes than the shiny, ugly, black boxy ones in the same price bracket. The ipod dock folds down (and the stand moves in at the same time; very nice!) for total portability.

The power supply came with a range of attachments to make it portable to use the world over and it also can work on 3 AA batteries.

Lastly it has a jack to use with other MP3 players.
