Hence, the picture is immediately enjoyable, with the vivid colours, the great contrast and the fine stability. It is featured with 2 speakers, one surround speaker and a remote control. The sound, however, is quite abrasive, managing to be both inhibited and unruly for films, music and radio. The Sony develops a very fine broad soundstage without managing to convince the users that the sound is coming from anywhere but in front of the TV. The digital sound is not that powerful and the bass sound is not that appealing. Reviewers from stuff.tv concluded that it’s not a particularly accomplished system in terms of surround sound but the DAV-X1’s picture is great. It has an unconvincing sound. Thus, it is not an effective system, in terms of surround sound. Consumers didn’t like the DAV-X1 that much. It has a low rate. This is not a kind of system that the users want to own. Overall, this system has not been well received by its consumers. As a result, the reviewers have rated it rather moderately.
