- Pros: Good clear sound for a small room at a reasonable price. Good 1080 picture from DVD player
- Cons: Does not have Optical sound input and therefore cannot paly 5.1 surround sound from the Sky HDTV box

- Pros: Usual Sony quality: excellent picture, easy to set up, easy to use, plenty of functions, high quality sound. Automatic sound setup is also a nifty feature!
- Cons: Speakers can be difficult to position to spouses satisfaction! Speaker stands need plenty of floor space (approx 12" base) to situate correctly.

- Pros: sharp quality sound (it sound like you are really in the cinema), ease of control, plays both DVD and VCD
- Cons: the 4 adjustable speakers doesn't all sound simultaneously, sometimes only 2 works and most other times they doesn't.
