  • ht-c5500 fan check

    my samsung blue-ray keeps shutting down on fan check. i bought it three months ago. i have cleaned the back and underside of the unit with compressed air. i even took the top off and have a 6" fan blowing down on the top of the unit. all heat sinks feel cool to the touch. but after 5 seconds the unit starts flashing "chk fan" on the display. then another 5 sec to 1 minute and the unit shuts down. it does not matter what mode it is in, tv, dvd, radio, etc... what is going on? and what can be done tofix it?

  • when the speakers are turned up they start popping.

    when the speakers are turned up past 20 on dvd display they start to make popping noises. Is this normall / acceptable.
