The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 is a set of small stereo speakers to replace the mini/micro system speakers or satellite speakers that are normally put to use with subwoofer in home cinema systems. The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 consists of a series of small cuboid enclosures using a 100mm bass/mid driver system and a 25mm silk dome tweeter. Imaging is possible when used with any of the Diamond 9 series subwoofers The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 set of small stereo speakers are designed to be wall or ceiling mounted. A special alloy, cast chassis design is incorporated across the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 to virtually eliminate rear wave reflections from the chassis legs. This allows air to move freely through the driver and have a more even frequency response with much lower distortion. The speaker measures at 7.6 inches x 10.9 inches x 11.7 inches and weighs 12 pounds.

The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 is a set of small stereo speakers that employs a full 4 inch Kevlar based bass driver. This comes with a dual unit Bass that measures at 5”, a single unit Aluminum-alloy tweeter surround measuring at 25mm and packed with a Soft Dome has a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio in sounds and has high value damping characteristics for sounds as well. The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 has a frequency response ranging from 50Hz to 24 kHz with a HF limit of 10 dB at 44 kHz. The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 has the ability to handle out power of up to 20 Watts RMS and may be boosted way up to 100 watts if the situation calls for it. The The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 has a speaker sensitivity of 86dB @ 1 watt and has a nominal impedance of up to 6 ohms compatibility. It also has a high frequency crossover of up to 2.3 kHz and comes with high frequency drivers to match.
