The Klipsch RF-62 is designed with a Tractrix Horns technology that includes improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound combined with a professional-grade 1-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power. The RF-62 has a dual 6.5-inch high output woofers with large motor structures for a solid bass foundation and greater control, output and power handling. These Cerametallic woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics. The RF-62’s cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound and twin rear-firing ports to eliminate turbulence noise. Increased baffle ribbing in the lower panel and around the horn mouth dramatically improve acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RF-62 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring. The Klipsch RF-62 has a response bandwidth of up to 38Hz-23000Hz, approximately 3dB and peak power handling of 125W RMS, nominal power of 500W RMS. It also comes with 97dB @ 2.83V / 1m sensitivity, 8 ohms compatible nominal impedance and high frequency crossover of 1800Hz. Apart from that, the RF-62 has an amplification type of 2-way passive and it uses the wired connectivity technology. The RF-62 measures at 21.6cm in width, 39.4cm in depth and 103.1cm in height (with stand) and it weights in at 24.5kg.

    For the price, you can't beat these speakers. I demoed Def Tech, Paradigm, Polk and a few others and I ended up with the Klipsch. I have these setup as my fronts in a home theater setup, connected to a Marantz SR6003, and using a RC-52 center and RS-42 surrounds. The detail and clarity is phenomenal. I can't say enough about the midrange on these speakers, and a lot of the Reference series speakers for that matter from Klipsch. Doesn't matter how much you turn it... Read more
