It comes with a 1.25-inch titanium tweeter and four high-output Cerametallic woofers providing intense bass response with astonishing speed and accuracy plus it is available in either Cherry or Black Ash wood grain vinyl finish and comes with a knife-edge back, low-diffraction and magnetically shielded drivers to prevent video interference.

The Klipsch RC-64 is designed with Tractrix Horns technology that includes improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound combined a 1.25-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power. The RC-64 employs four 6.5-inch high-output woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics. It is also fitted with Tapered Array technology which operates all woofers at the lowest frequencies; maintaining the high output capability necessary for good center channel performance and only two operates all the way through the midrange to where the tweeter takes over. This eliminates acoustic interference between the woofer outputs. The RC-64’s sealed cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound. Increased baffle ribbing around the horn mouth dramatically improves acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RC-64 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring. It also has bi-wire inputs with premium binding posts providing superior connectivity. The Klipsch RC-64 has a response bandwidth of up to 62Hz-21000Hz, approximately 3dB and peak power handling of 200W RMS, nominal power of 800W RMS. It also comes with 99dB @ 2.83V / 1m sensitivity, 8 ohms compatible nominal impedance and high frequency crossover of 1150Hz to 1800Hz. Apart from that, the RC-64 has an amplification type of 2-way and it uses cable connectivity technology. The RC-64 measures at 83.8cm in width, 34.3cm in depth and 20.3cm in height and it weights in at 27.7kg.

    I had a tiny center channel speaker before I bought this and had an issue with my movie dialog sounding like they were talking in a cave (bad echo), i bought this speaker to fix that and was blown away by the difference it made it shakes my house when i play transformers on blue ray and looks fantastic. Some people may be turned off by the size its pretty big but i wanted to best sound i could get and this speaker doesnt dissappoint. I'm saving to purchase two front... Read more

    This is the only center channel I have found that can match up to my other speakers in level and quality. I tried less expensive speakers that just failed and sounded weak, not these. This is as important (maybe even more important) than the other speakers in a surround system. Everything else sounded non-rewarding.
