My experiences with headphones, especially on long or even short flights around the country, have never been very facilitating. Many times, I’d hear the person sitting next to me talking to a friend across the aisle or the flight attendant asking those individuals sitting around me what beverages they wanted to drink. I recently had the opportunity to review Sony’s MDR-NC60 Noise Canceling Headphones on a flight across this great country of ours and can quite... Read more
After owning the previous version of this headset I bought this updated version for my Aunt who is currently in a senior care home. She uses the noise cancelling ability when it gets noisy around her and uses the audio jack when she wants to listen to a radio, privately. It has been a great purchase to make her stay at the care facility more under her control Read more

I have used these for several 15 hour nonstop flights and found them to be comfortable for the entire flight. I don't know how I endured without them before, and won't take any trip over an hour without them! Read more
This review is from: Sony MDR-NC60 High Quality Noise Cancelling Headphones (Electronics) The noise cancelling is ok, and is good for cancelling out engine noises on a plane. Though strangely some noises are more evident when you turn the NC on. Essentially they are good heaphones Read more
Wow what can I say about the Sony headphones? They are the best! I did some research on noise cancelling headphones because I did not want to pay $300+ for bose. I found the Sony's and could not believe how great they work. Even if the battery is off you still get some benefits of noise cancellation. The sound is excellent. I recommend that you try these first before shelling out hundreds more on simular products!! Read more
