  2. Nice, but not long lasting.

I bought these less than a year ago, my wife and I decided that instead of having a stereo system to annoy the neighbors, we'd get headsets to watch our movies. They worked great up until about 3 weeks ago when the transmitter malfunctioned and the sound quality was extremely bad, with a high pitched whine. Nothing I tried with the transmitter worked, so I dug out the other transmitter because we bought two complete sets. Problem solved, for about 3 weeks when the second... Read more

Being seriously deaf with minimal residual hearing, I am unable to listen to TV and audio devices without assistive listening devices. My wife and kids used to keep headaches due to the loud volume, or I got "ear squint" trying to make out what was being said on TV. Hearing aids only helped a little. This was solved with various headsets over the years, most of which only lasted for about one year and were less than satisfactory. Four years ago I bought my first... Read more

Every night I listen to music or tv on my computer before I go to bed. The d*/n cord from my studio earphones was driving me crazy! I ordered these with mediocre expectations. These earphones are far better than mediocre. I have a component home system in the other room and when I get serious about some music, I'll use it. It has a really nice Kenwood amp and Bose front drivers (with a seperate EQ) if I had more money I would definitely be an audiophile. My point is that... Read more

I bought these for my father-in-law who is hard of hearing and wanted them for his TV. He is very happy with them, his wife not so much. Plugging them into the TV earphone socket with the supplied 3.5mm jack, automatically cuts the sound from the main TV speakers - so only he can hear the sound. His TV is rather old and does not have any other suitable audio outputs for an adapter of any kind. If you were buying these for TV use it would be worth checking the TV first,... Read more
