List All 2 PricesShe said: PDAs are brilliant if you need to keep track of your life and those around you writes Debbie Davies . Gone are the days this is just for businesses and girls trying to keep track of their lives. Schools are buying PDAs in large numbers for teachers to use for pupil registration as part of their battle against truancy. I found the stylus works as well as a mouse for repetitive data entry, although less well if you want to write. The additional memory makes the... Read more

For a brand-spanking-new PDA, the Tungsten T5 looks somewhat retro - or at least it does to those who remember the old Palm V. This model, like last year's successful Tungsten E, takes pretty much all of its design cues from that old favourite. Read more
palmOne disappointed even its fans with the new model. Quite a contrary move was expected from this company — a worthy answer to the new wave of Pocket PC with VGA displays. New OS version (Cobalt), built-in WiFi module. But we get a regular Palm device instead, incompatible with a noticeable part of old software, with a built-in memory drive, which is erased at hard reset. This device is frankly weak. For the sum of money, which palmOne wants to get from customers,... Read more
PalmOne Tungsten T5 For the past couple of years, is trying to bring up some new features on their each new release. Palmone tungsten T3 might have impressed you, but the new PalmOne Tungsten T5 has a lot more in store for you designed at ease without taking away anything that the user is [...] Read more
It is the worst handheld I have ever used. I have owned two previous Palm models and have owned a Blackberry. I have owned the Tungsten T for less than a year and have replaced the cradle three times and the handheld three times. Technical support calls take at least 30 minutes and I've wasted a lot of time because of "procedure" that needs to be followed (e.g. doing a hard reset, when you have already told them that you already did a hard reset). Finally, the functions... Read more
I've had my T5 for about a year and a half by now. I bought it for its convenient size, applications and features that were just perfect for a professor like me. I could create lesson plans, record grades, save files, view presentations, as well as keep personal picture files and music. However, I almost went berserk when they launched the LifeDrive 3 weeks after my purchase. For just another $100 I could have gotten the integrated WiFi access, 4GB memory and other... Read more
This is the Palm device that lead me to never buy a Palm again. Everything in it was underwhelming; from Palm leaving the OS to die of atrophy, to poor support, to sub-par quality and underpowered everything. It lead me to believe that it'd interact nicely with my Samsung X820 - compose SMS messages and place phone calls like a sane person, yet failed to deliver on anything beyond basic functionality. The screen whine is like having a second mother-in-law over your... Read more
At first it was difficult to figure how to put data on the Palm Pilot (maybe because of Vista operating system). Once figured it is worth it. There are some good tips on the internet (Google "PAF for Palm OS", and look at the Adobe info). When exporting data you will have to make several data bases if you have upwards of 10's of thousands of names. Also you will have to save your PAF each time you export in a different name so that you can have different data bases (so... Read more
I just want to agree with the comment on how bad Palm telephone tech support is. They have obviously outsourced their support, and the call center has hired people who cannot understand the questions even if you speak slowly and clearly. They also spend the first 5 minutes of the call trying to find some reason to not grant you tech support, and explain that you need to agree to pay $25 for help. I called with regard to a new Palm that I had purchased, and the call... Read more
