Palm T|X Handheld is a PDA that has solid black body and finish. The PDA that offers wireless technology is equipped with Palm OS Garnet 5.4 operating system. It has the weight of 148.8g whereas its dimension is at 78.2mm x 120.9mm x 15.5mm. The transflective TFT touch screen display that comes in 320 x 480 pixels resolution has support for over 65k colors. Its screen has the measurement of 3.25 x 2.2 inch. It supports both wide-screen landscape and portrait mode, switches with a touch on the icon on the status bar. The T|X Handheld runs on Intel 312 MHz ARM-based processor with the memory of 128MB where 100MB is accessible to user. It comes with speakers and standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jacks. With the expansion slot that supports MultiMediaCard, SD and SDIO cards, users are able to transfer files to the device as well as storing them as additional memory. The PDA is powered by non-removable 1250 mAh Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. It is said to have 5 days battery life on normal usage.

The T|X Handheld by Palm that features Wi-Fi 802.11b and Bluetooth 1.1 wireless technology offers users the ability to go online even when they are away from desk. They can download email and attachments or check personal emails over their own Wi-Fi network or hotspots locations available at cafés, hotels, airports or other places compatible with the network. As the built-in Blazer web browser featured, users get to obtain driving directions, stock quotes or read the latest news using the network. With the availability of VersaMail email client, corporate, campus and personal accounts such as AOL and Yahoo! are able to be checked by the users while they are on the go. Besides that, Document To Go that is featured with T|X Handheld allows users to view, edit and create Word, Excel and PowerPoint compatible files.
