It is available in the colour Silver. A standard battery, Li-Ion 1500 mAh is included. It has a stand by time of up to 400h and talk time of up to 7 h 40 min. The HTC P6500 is equipped with 256MB internal memory with the option to add up to 1GB in addition to two external SD card slots.

Features

Display type is a TFT touchscreen, 65K colors with 240 x 320 pixels and measures at 3.5 inches. Ringtones type are Polyphonic (40 channels) and MP3. Vibration is featured as well. The camera featured in the P6500 is a 3 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus camera that can be used for both photos and videos. The HTC P6500, a PDA phone that is powered by Windows Mobile® 6 Professional, enables images, media and data to be viewed. This smartphone is supported by 3G/HSDPA connectivity as well as GPS. There’s the Fingerprint ID sensor that helps to secure device and critical data. There’s also the remote wipe facility that helps to enable enables the remote clearing of all data from device and storage cards if lost or stolen. There’s the dual SDIO interface that helps to provide two SDIO ports for memory card storage or accessory connection. This smartphone is a tri-band HSDPA with Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It has Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 2.0 as well. It has a built-in microphone and speaker. Overall, its features are GPS navigation, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF viewer), Fingerprint sensor, Barcode/BusinessCard reader applications, Java MIDP 2.0, Voice memo, MP3/AAC player, Video/audio album and Built-in handsfree.

    The specs are good, the 400Mhz CPU holds up well, the handset is solid and it'll do the job it was designed for. Sure, it's not for the the teenage trend-setter, this is a big, easy-to-use handset for shopfloor and industrial use. Read more

    I actually enjoyed using the HTC P6500 which is perhaps a little odd when you consider that I really don't fall into the target demographic for the device. Sure, it's not the best looking phone, but you can see that it's been built to withstand more than the average knock or scratch. Once you get past the size everything else falls in to place and just works as it should. Read more
