HTC Advantage X7510

The HTC Advantage X7510 is a handheld computer running Windows Mobile Pro. This device from HTC features a 5" VGA touch screen, detachable keyboard, unlocked quad band GSM phone with triband HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP autofocus camera, a 624MHZ processor and 16 gigs of storage. HTC has updated the keyboard design on this model as well as double the storage found on the X7510. The Advantage measures 5.25 x 3.85 x 0.63 inches, is 0.79 thick and weights 12.66 ounces. It has been noted to be bigger than the AT&T HTC Tilt or a Dell Axim, but about half the size of the HTC Shift, Samsung Q1 Ultra and a quarter of the size and weight of the 13" Sony Vaio SZ650 notebook. There’s a Home button that takes you to the HTC home screen and 3 buttons that serve as shortcut keys on the keyboard.

Features

It features TouchFLO, Opera Mobile 9, and Google Maps, as well as all the rest of the features that the other models of HTC Advantage offer. GPS (with TomTom Navigator 6), 5-inch VGA display, 624MHz processor, ATI video acceleration, 256MB ROM / 128MB RAM, tri-band HSDPA, quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE, magnetic QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Windows Mobile 6.1 are all included and featured. This device is equipped with a 16GB flash memory. There’s an included wired headset, built-in speakerphone and a Bluetooth headset that will come in handy for call purposes. This device features mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook and more. The Advantage can be used like a notebook with the keyboard attached or as a tablet with the keyboard off. The keyboard snaps onto the front face for transit and acts as heavy-duty screen cover. By tapping the power button to see the time, network status, call and messaging status. The main camera lens is at the back and there’s a front-facing video conferencing camera. The handheld has a speaker for multimedia and speakerphone calls as well as a mic. It has a standard 3.5mm stereo headset jack (headset included), HTC’s ExtUSB port for syncing and charging, a volume slider and camera key. There’s also a combined VGA-out/USB host port. The Advantage runs HTC’s TouchFLO UI, just like the HTC Touch and has the same home screen plugins with weather forecasts, visual speed dial shortcuts, a large clock and more.
