Dell Axim X51V
The Dell Axim X51V is a PDA that is GPS capable of 3.7 inches VGA graphics with graphic processor. It is compatible for movies and Web Surfing as well. The Dell Axim X51V runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 and requires Windows Media Player 10 Mobile software to function.
Features
In terms of memory, the Dell Axim X51V has an installed RAM of 64 MB with a maximum capacity for supported RAM of 64 MB. It uses SDRAM technology and also has a 256 MB Flash installed ROM. The Dell Axim X51V uses an Intel 524 MHz Xscale processor. Its input device type features stylus, touch-screen and 5-way navigation button. As for audio, the Dell Axim X51V is digital audio standards supported and supports MP3 and WMA files as well. It uses a microphone for audio input type and speaker for audio output type and has voice recording capability as well. In terms of the display, the Dell Axim X51V has a 3.7 inch TFT active matrix display type, with colour support of 16-bit (64k colours), with a maximum resolution of 480 x 640. Under expansion and connectivity, the Dell Axim X51V has IrDA and Bluetooth IEEE 802.11b, with headset, USB and docking/ port replicator interfaces. Mini-phone 3.5 mm and 36 pin docking is also provided, along with one SD memory card and one CompactFlash Card type II expansion slot. It runs on one Lithium ion battery and a power adapter power supply device. Package includes PDA with screen protector, 2 stylus, 2 normal batteries, 1 extended battery, 1GB CF card, two 1GB SD card, traveling charger, dock, VGA cable to connect to monitor or projector, USB sync cable, manuals and CDs.

Conclusion All in all, a very impressive device. The graphics, especially in the 3D department, is as good as it gets. The software in the bundle is quite extensive and includes both full and trial versins of some nifty applications, including games. Any downfalls had more to do with the operating system rather than the device itself, but this is to be expected from a new release OS such as WM 5.0.
