ViaMichelin X-930 review

10 October 2006
  • Summary: The ViaMichelin X-930 is one of the cheapest sat-navs on the market and, with loads of bonus features, it’s a fairly tempting option. Tiny body disguises the full arsenal At 134g, it’s fairly light, compact and chock full of goodies. It comes with a comprehensive, POI database, maps of UK and Ireland and speed limit warnings. All you need to do is plug it in and you’re ready to hit the road with the handsome 320 x240 touchscreen display as your trusty guide.

  • Conclusion: There are easier-to-use products at the same price point. Trust your tires, but not your navigation, to the Michelin Man.
  • Pros: Affordable. SiRF Star III receiver. Installation poster included.
  • Cons: Difficult menu system. No manual.
