Another great SatNav from Garmin - we are being spoiled this month. It's just a pity that the location acquisition times were a bit on the slow side, but because Garmin devices can be updated with firmware, we are confident that its early performance issues will be quickly resolved. Read more
When taking into account all the features and capabilities of this GPS, it is definitely an above-average navigational system that is worth every penny. Of course, it has its flaws, so if you are really picky you may want to look for a more expensive model. If you are just a first-time GPS buyer who wants the nice features of this model, then by all means consider it. Navigation is relatively simple (and even fun sometimes!), and the interface is user-friendly. Overall,... Read more

After getting 2 defective 660's in 2 weeks (which Amazon replaced, then refunded), I upgraded my order to the 760, and I'm pretty thrilled with the unit so far. It came with the latest maps and software (unlike the 660's), worked right out of the box, and has been very accurate. Speaker has been fine-although the pronunciation of street names is often peculiar. (Come on, Pine St. isn't hard!) My only gripes are that the POI's are limited, and you can't sort easily by... Bright screen, clear voice with accurate notification of upcoming streets & locations. Easy install, still learning stuff it can do...tough on adding vias while adding routes. Read more

Moved because somehow this review and others for the 760 somehow wound up in the Nuvi 260 section . . . . I now have a Nuvi 760 installed on the windshield of my car. I happen to like Garmin navigators in general, but the Nuvi and Zumo series miss the mark for the 'experienced' among us - and quality is lacking somewhat in some areas as well. I used to start all of my reviews with an explanation of what GPS is all about - it took up a lot of room, so I've edited the text... Read more
