The Garmin Nüvi 250 which is from the Nüvi-200 series is a lower-end GPS device which focuses on affordable prices and simplicity. It has a dimension of 3.8” x 2.8” x 0.8”, and weighs about 147.42g, making it slightly smaller and lighter than its peers in the same range. It uses rechargeable lithium-ion and has a battery life of up to 5 hours. It also has a high-sensitivity receiver and is RoHS version available.

The Garmin Nüvi 250’s maps include basemaps, preloaded maps, as well as the ability to add maps. It has a built-in memory of an internal solid state, and accepts data cards in the form of SD cards which are sold separately. It can store up to 500 waypoints/ favourites/ locations but is not able to save routes. The voice prompt feature is available through the us of internal speakers, and it also has a 3D map view.
