Conclusion: Only learnt to hit my old driver 2 months ago but it was an old cheap mass produced club and I wanted a driver I could grow with over the next 3-4 years. After reading the reviews and testing the feel in a few shops about town I decided on the X2 hot.
Excerpt: I have the 3 -5 in the Calloway hot 2 series! Easy to use and great distance! I replaced my original hot series with these magnificent clubs. Sounds tinny but it's more of MUSICAL TING! the grey head is ok with me .
Excerpt: A wonderful club. I have the 2H and 4H, which are like 2i/5w and 4i/7w replacements. You basically get 3 clubs for the price of one: a recovery club, wood and long iron. The ball really flies well off the club face and makes a great sound. Superb of the tee or from the deck.
Summary: I have never had a club easier to hit right out of the box. I have tried hybrids and had trouble hitting them. This club played like we were old friends immediately. First shot on the range 200 yds straight down the middle swinging easy.
Summary: This club has quickly turned into one of my favorite clubs. I've hit it off the tee, fairway, and rough and it has managed all three great. Miss hits are greatly rewarded over a normal long iron miss hit. Distance is further than the long iron it replaces as well as easier workability of the ball.
