Features

USRobotics USR 8200 Firewall is a business-class VPN Firewall. It provides expandable network attached storage solution. It is equipped with an integrated file and FTP capability, where USB 2.0 and FireWire ports are added to expand storage to a network. By having these features, the USR 8200 is ideal for small business solution. Furthermore, it supports PPTP server/client modes and up to 253 IPSec connections. It incorporates Intel IXP422 processor, 64MB RAM and 16MB Flash. This powerful hardware platform ensures the USR 8200 to deliver high-speed performance. It is equipped with an onboard encryption engine as well. This built-in encryption engine is faster and more efficient than software-based encryption technologies. As for the port configuration, there is one WAN port, four LAN ports, two USB 2.0 ports and one FireWire port. In terms of network security, the USR 8200 Firewall includes features such as Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), DMZ Host support, Application Level Gateways (ALGs) and protection against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It is compatible with any operating system with Ethernet and TCP/IP support. By having upgradable design and built-in Linux operating system, it allows users to create own customized modules. It can be accessed via Universal Plug-and-Play and a web interface. It measures 5.5 x 9.2 x 6.75 inches in dimension and weighs 1.08 lb.
