Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is the successor to Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX and is created by Acclaim Entertainment.

Features

In Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, players can take on the role of one of 13 top BMX riders, or a number of other characters. Along with the pro riders, there are 3 hidden characters, of which one is a teen who had won a contest and got his likeness put in the game, the Slim Jim man from the Slim Jim commercials, and then Amish Boy who rode around on a wooden bike and had Amish clothing and a corn cob pipe. While playing the Amish Boy character, sometimes results in the yelling of “Watch out, Amish Boy!”. Some of the stages included in this game are Woodward Camp, Venice, Greenville, North Carolina and the Manhattan train yards. Gameplay in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is available in several different modes of play, including proquest, session, freeride, park editor, and multiplayer. Proquest is the main mode and takes the form of a story. Players must select a character to portray, and then has several 3 minute runs to complete set goals such as grinding 50 meters down a grind bar or scoring 50000 points in a single run to collect respect points. Once enough respect points are collected, new areas and bikes are unlocked. Session mode is similar, although there are no set goals. In Freeride, players take part in runs, but this time without any time limits. Park editor is a fairly powerful feature of the game that allows the user to create their own skatepark to ride in the other game modes. As for multiplayer, two humans can play different game types in this mode, on any level unlocked or created.
