This is a great game which is currently my personal favourite on the GameCube. It’s not so much a game as it is a hobby. That’s the kind of dedication which is needed. Some will play for a week get bored and never touch a gain and some will play fanatically for a lot longer. This is the game I bought my import GameCube for. Read more
Animal Crossing is best played for between 30 minutes and an hour every day - you'll want to pop into the shop to check what Nook has in his store each day, and you'll want to visit the dump, the lost and found and of course do a bit of digging and fishing, but after that the interaction between the animals and the often mundane errands do start to get repetitive. However, limit yourself and you'll never get bored, and make sure to visit your town on all the major ho... Read more
This is not a game that can be played though in one day. In fact play it for too long in one session and the simplicity of the game becomes too apparent. Animal Crossing is one of those classic games that could only have come from Nintendo, addictive, compulsive and good old fashioned fun rolled into... Read more

A classic example of what Nintendo can do, Sony and Microsoft wouldn't even try to make something like this. A simple story of someone coming to a new town, getting a place, paying for it and all the while trying to make friends and help out his community. Doesn't seem all that on paper but neither would Tetris, rent it, buy it, love it. Read more
