Super Ghouls ‘N Ghosts is a hack and slash, platform video game developed and published by Capcom. It was developed for SFC/SNES, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Portable, Virtual Console and PlayStation 3. The game was released for Game Boy Advance version on July 19, 2002 in Japan, September 23, 2002 in North America and December 10, 1992 in Europe. The game only enables single player mode. It is rated as E (Everyone) by ESRB.

Features

The story of the game is set while Arthur and Princess Prin-Prin are about to get married, after four years Princess Prin-Prin been rescued by Arthur from the demon Loki. Suddenly, Prin-prin is kidnapped by a demon, and the Knight Arthur, the only playable character, once again in a quest to rescue Princess Prin-Prin from the Ghoul Realm, which ruled by the Demon Emperor Sardius. Similar to its predecessor, the Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, which enables Arthur to upgrade to the bronze armour, and allow him to upgrade his weapons and also the golden one, which provides a special magic attack. This series features new Arthur ability that is double jump. Besides that, the game also features new weapon, the Bow and Arrow that enables Arthur to shoot two arrows at once and at slightly different angles; and the Scythe that flies along the ground. The player is required to beat Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts twice in a row to win this game. Moreover, it also has added an ‘Arrange Mode’ which includes a new map that enables the player to choose from redesigned levels and bosses taken from its predecessors.
