The controller has been heralded as the most ergonomically designed peripheral ever held. For some forthcoming games you can even use the GameBoy Advance as a controller, while the GBA's screen can be used to present extra features and information in the palm of your hand! GameCube's sequel, the Wii looks to be released sometime in 2006, behind Xbox 2 and PS3. Read more
OK, the Gamecube was a console that I bought a few years back. After that, most of my friends had Playstation 2s which had more popular games and more power in the console itself. The console itself is an odd design, being a cube instead of the usual cuboid shaped console, and has a handle for easy carrying (for whatever reason) and comes in many colours such as purple, black, platinum, with the standard being purple. It takes mini sized CDs, which are smalled than no... Read more
I was skeptical about the Gamecube when it first came out but it became my favorite console and many of the games hugely enjoyable, my favorites include Mario Kart Double dash, an excellent and fun racing game, Spider-man 2 although available for other consoles it is a great addition to the collection and Legend of Zelda: Wind waker. I sort of stopped playing it for a while but once I got a Nintendo Wii which is backwards compatible, I began playing the older game cub... Read more
At $100, way to expensive. I bought mine used for $20. Honestly, thats all I think its worth now. Not too many 3rd party games and games are still more expensive then the system. If you want to play GC games and get get your hands on a used $20 one, just get the Wii. At 150 more, your getting so many more features even though imo, the Wii is also overpriced. Read more
Nintendo GameCube Platinum Console is not very limited at all. It is just that it is available in the platinum color with a matching platinum controller. The GameCube console is a great starter for children. Not only it's cheap (well under $100), there are tons of games geared towards children, ranging from Mario themed to Sonic the Hedgehog games. One drawback for the GameCube console is that the platinum color, while it looks great, can wear off pretty easily. Anoth... Read more
