My experience of the DMR-EX77 has only been via the RGB enabled SCART socket (not HDMI). This unit delivers everything promised. The performance, when using a Virgin cable STB is brilliant on HDD or DVD-R at 4 hours a disc. A nice touch is the remote’s ability to also control the basic functions of any make of TV. The CD-Audio performance is also good and detailed, one less box under the TV. Read more
