Excerpt: Shrek Superslam Ds is a shrek themed wrestling/fighting game for the Nintendo Ds, it was released in late 2005. I just had to buy this game because at the time it was released I really love the Shrek films that are of course very popular in both kids and adults. I also enjoy fighting style games such as Soul Calibur or Tekken, however this game is much less technical than these games, it still is a bit of fun to play.

Pros: lots of characters to play with, good storyline,
Cons: Sometimes can get a little repetitive, after a long time
Excerpt: "...as aerial attacks. For example Shrek will fart, Puss in Boots charms his enemies before attacking them and Donkey will summon his Dronkeys to dive-bomb enemies, and so on. Whilst these moves are fun they are never necessary. You can just hit the standard punch button over and over again and force your opponent into a corner where you can block them in and beat the living daylights out of them. There are several different types of items and weapons ...
The 'Shrek' theme novelty soon wears off and then it is a boring game

Excerpt: Ever since the first animation was released I have been a great fan of Shrek. I like everything about it, the characters, the storyline, the bright colours, everything. Whilst browsing the local game rental shop I noticed Srek Superslam and just had to rent it for a weekend and give it a go.
Good game the first few mini games are good but the rest of the unlockables get boring and too alike

Excerpt: If you like fighting and Shrek, this is the game for you. Shrek and all the characters play in this one, you fight them whilst doing other things aswel. You fight in scenes such as the top of the castle and in the kitchen, there are a few moves to perform, but they don't always seam to work. Once you have built up enough power you can perform a super slam, which is different for each character.
Excerpt: Shrek super slam starts off quite good, but then you realise that you are only doing one thing, pressing buttons to fight people, you can collect things in the fights to unlock pictures and thing but they are quite boring. The 12 age rating on it is a bit too high i think, as its not real people fighting and the moves cant be performed as they are done by donkeys and flying Shrek.
Summary: i got this game when i first got my nds, and now that i recall playing this, the gameplay just doesn't feel right because its no where as good as smash bros. brawl., the sound gets tedious and repetitive, with the constant character noises and all, and you'd fell like there is no actuall good music. just character groans.
Summary: The story line and the sound are really good. I found the game too repetitive and has a bit of cartoon violence, which i didn't know, since it did not say it on the case. I got it for my daughter, she is four, and she was bored after an hour of playing it. The only thing that she like was the stories, but that meant that i had to be with her to read it. The sound is great, animated and fun. The graphics are good, just not entertaining enough.
Summary: Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer... Okay I really like this game it's cute and fun and plus has a really nifty little storyline behind it too.
