Animal Crossing: Wild World is a fine example of a time consuming game. This massive game can be very addicting at times and is a great way to escape reality. Freedom is the keyword to define Wild Word, for there are no main objectives or tasks to do. Basically, you will have fun the way Nintendo wants you to. Read more

Overall though, Animal Crossing feels like a game that the DS was made for. While the GameCube version could only be played at home, the DS version can go with you wherever you go, so you won’t miss out on anything happening in town during the day. The online features that the GameCube version was sorely lacking add a whole new dimension to an already groundbreaking game, and makes you think that this what the creators of the game had in mind when they first brought... I recently bought a Nintendo DS and with it a load of games to keep me occupied; one of these games was Animal Crossing - Wild World. You start off in a taxi, where you are asked where you want to go to... I wasn't sure where to put so I hazarded a guess and said... Read more

I guess I will be the voice of reason on this game. I have a feeling all the previous reviews have been from people who haven't played this game for all that long. I have played Animal Crossing Wild World for almost a year now, and it has its clear advantages and disadvantages. This game has really good graphics, one of the best I have seen on the Nintendo DS, right up there with Mario Kart. The colors are crisp and fun. They are also very bright. It being a cartoonish... It depends what games you like really but if you liked the first animal crossing you will definitely like this. This game has the best online mode on ds at the moment, if you like games like the sims and harvest moon you will enjoy animal crossing. If you like your game to have a conclusion this is probably one to avoid but i can safely say this is one of the top 10 ds titles out at the moment and if you have the time it becomes a very absorbing game.
