Toy Commander is an action game made by No Cliché and published by Sega.

Features

Toy Commander’s game plot revolves around a child named Andy who gets new army-themed toys for Christmas, and neglects his childhood favourites. The toys, led by Huggy Bear, Andy’s childhood teddy bear, rebel and try to destroy the new toys. Players will have to battle each boss in the game that are leaders in a specific area of the house, who serve as one of Huggy Bear’s generals. These boss toys would join the player’s side as playable in the final battle if beaten. However, it is still possible to reach the final area without beating a single boss, but the level will automatically fail when started if players do not have at least one boss on their side. Once Huggy Bear is defeated, he will return to Andy’s side. The player will have a simple mission in which they must pilot an airplane to pick up toy passengers in a hangar. In addition to that, there is also a final scene where an adult Andy is fitting an airplane pilot, being woken up by a stewardess, implying that the game was truly a dream.
