Speedy performance with a rich list of features and good ergonomics the Sony DSC W90 is an excellent camera. Just for the sake of nit-picking, we'd like to see manual controls. That said, it's a great camera to bring those memories alive. Read more
Easy to use The intelligent Sony Cyber-shot W90 also has DRO (Dynamic Range Optimiser) technology, which automatically corrects the contrast and exposure. Use the large LCD screen to re-touch your photographs, remove red-eye and trim the image size; this is particularly useful when using PictBridge to connect directly to a printer without using a PC. A fantastic range of optional accessories are available to maximise the features of the Sony Cyber-shot W90, including a... Read more
On paper, the W90 doesn’t lack the characteristics to seduce the avid photographer. Unfortunately, the quality of images is not up to par with this brand’s usual high standards. Read more

This camera is not capable of taking a decent picture. After extensively reading the user manual and months of trying to make this camera work, I gave up. I contacted Sony, sent the camera back and they returned it with a comment that there was nothing wrong with the camera. I talked to a multitude of customer service reps to no avail. I finally gave up on Sony as well because they are not interested in satisfying their customers or standing behind their product. I am... Read more
I purchased this camera the month that it was released in the UK. So having had it a few months what do I think... Well, for a start it beats my old Minolta hands down. It's light weight and a decent size, so sits in my hand quite nicely. And looks rather fetching in black! Upon turning it on it becomes pretty clear how you go about using the device. For the less technical amoung us, the selector wheel cycles through the preset options for the general Portraits,... Read more
Don't let my title fool you - I love this camera. It takes wonderful still pictures that come out clear and beautiful. But whenever I attempt to take a night picture without flash or of a moving object, they come out blurry. I have tried using the different settings but I still can not get the pictures to come out in focus. The battery last a very, very long time and extremely user friendly in regards to menu features and uploading to PC. Read more
I bought this camera for its quick shutter lag (time it takes from pressing button to when it actually takes the picture). Although it is quick in that respect I did not find it easy to use. I previously had a Casio Exillim which needed replacing. I found this camera much harder to get to grips with and was very disappointed with the operation of the camera and the functions. I couldn't get it to zoom in when videoing which I was used to with the other one and had... Read more
