The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 is a digital camera that supports 5x optical zoom, 6.3x digital zoom, up to 12x with Smart Zoom function, and supports a Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® Lens with F2.6-6.3 value, 28-140 focal length (mm), 1/2.3 inch Super HAD sensor, and 16.2 Megapixels image output. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 is powered by the Bionz Processor, and has Optical SteadyShot™ Image Stabilization, face detection, smile shutter, in-camera editing function, sweep panorama, White Balance adjustment, up to 3200 ISO sensitivity, SteadyShot capability, built-in flash, blink detection, Red-Eye Correction, and a 6.7cm (2.7type) 230K TFT LCD. The camera stores video and image captured on its card slot that supports Memory Stick Duo (No movie recording), Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, SD Memory Card (Class 4 or higher), SDHC Memory Card (Class 4 or higher), or SDXC Memory Card (Class 4 or higher). It is powered by a battery that supports up to 220 shots, or 110min (CIPA standard with LCD screen on) of video recording. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 measures 3 5/8" x 2 1/8" x 25/32", weighs 4.1 oz and comes with a rechargeable battery pack (NP-BN1), battery charger, multi cable connector, wrist strap, and CD-ROM.

It also features Sweep Panorama that automatically combines a burst of images to create extra-wide panoramic pictures. It also has Intelligent Auto Mode which detects shooting situations, and optimizes settings for the best images, movie recording function, SteadyShot for reduced blur, a 2.7" Clear Photo LCD with wide viewing angle, ISO 3200 sensitivity, Face Detection which automatically adjusts focus, exposure and white balance and Smile Shutter which automatically fires shutter when subject smiles. The digital camera also comes with Sony Picture Motion Browser software that helps users transfer, sort, and view video and still images on compatible PC.
