On paper the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200 promises to be one of the more interesting compacts around for the keen shutterbug. Despite the limited range, it's smooth enough as it zooms back and forth. Distortion is a little higher than we expected, with noticeable barrel distortion at the wide angle but we took some shots pointing directly at the sun and were rewarded with minimal lens flare and no colour fringing, even around a silhouetted figure - an amazing performance from a small camera. The Sony DSC W200 is a stylish digital camera. Just on the large size for fitting in a pocket easily it also has some basic manual exposure controls. The 12 megapixels are also likely to prove attractive. Read more

i bought this camera when it first came out the price has dropped since, but overall lots of features, video excellent down loading onto a computer excellent, only negative feature searching through 1400 pictures can be tedious....... Read more
