Plentiful features with all manner of adjustable options, entertaining gimmicks and rock-solid shooting make us like this camera a lot. We love the fold-out screen and fantastically delicate zoom control -- if you could stick an SD card slot in there, it'd be one of the best superzooms we've seen. Sadly, it loses marks for the proprietary connections Read more

Sony's latest bridge camera offers high speed shooting with a fast shutter speed and continuous burst of up to 100 shots. The 9 million pixel model continues Sony's association with Carl Zeiss, featuring a 31-465mm f/2.7-4.5 Vario-Tessar lens (35mm equivalent). Of course being Sony, it is also packed with the latest advanced technology. Read more

Targeting those who want better image quality and a broader range of features – not to mention lens reach – than the typical compact, without going the whole hog and investing in a DSLR, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 shapes up as a surprisingly compelling proposition. With build quality almost equal to an entry-level DSLR, the DSC-H50's chief selling point of that 15x zoom reach is ideal for candid portraiture and even amateur wildlife photography, the kind of subjects... Overall, we did like the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50, especially the 15X lens and the tilting LCD. Eliminate the glitches (or ignore them), and you have a fierce little camera for a reasonable price. Read more

Overall I was impressed by this camera. Picture quality is good and although the camera has a number of advanced features Sony have been able to make the camera as easy to use as possible. When it comes to shutter lag this is one of the fastest cameras around. Read more

had this 3 months now and i am very pleased with it. adjustable screen is fantastic making it very easy to get low angle shots or shots with the camera held above your head. 15x zoom is great and super stable in your hand and it will zoom up to 36x although this is digital zoom but at 9mp its still gets a reasonable shot for that odd distant picture. shutter speeds are quick and there is no lag from pressing the button to taking the shot. have found myself using the auto...
