Summary: I had the Sony cyber Shot 2.0 and the Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 they worked real well for what I was useing them for shots on the road, etc this DCS-W190 is about a 1/4 of the size of the 2.0 and about 1/2 the size of the 7.2 and has the same functions, the other two always buying batteries, nice to have a charger with this one, noticed some bad reviews on this ? but I was comfortable with the product and not trying to be an Ansel Adams. This is a great camera for the price.
Very Handy Little Camera - Good for Documenting Projects
LT1 Silverhawk, Amazon
3 July 2012
Summary: I bought this camera when it first came out some time in 2009 and have been using it ever since. While I have used it for general as well as as some artsy photography, it is now mostly used to document my automotive projects. Its small design, strong flash, and good focus make it very ideal for photographing parts in tight spaces. And the pictures come out very sharp, though every thing needs a bit of quick touching up in a photo editor.
Summary: I had this camera for almost a year and video resolutions is ok not bad according to the camera price but the pictures are not good as expected from sony , take very long time between shots , Burst is very bad and slow , tried too many different setting but nogo and still the same problem with the shutter speed. just dont buy it and buy more expensive camera instead of wasting your money on this camera .
Summary: This camera was an employment award - I chose it instead of $150 cash that was an option because of all the rave reviews. I wish I'd taken the money, added to it and gotten something else! It has never exposed a single indoor flash picture properly. All flash pics are completely overexposed, it's horrible in low light and it's horrible in otherwise brightly lit indoor situations. I've wasted countless time adjusting the settings to no avail.
Summary: I always take pictures with my friends and this camera has lasted a good 3 years, and the only reason im out to get a better one is because ive sat on it and dropped it countless times. It has many settings to willingly adjust. For a "point and shoot" it takes reallly good pictures. I always get complements on them from my friends. Its a little on the heavy said but nothing too bad.
