The Panasonic LX3 achieves the rare feat of excelling in both form and function. A well-crafted object, it performs well enough to win over photography fans as well as aesthetes. I received this camera as a surprise gift for Christmas 2008 and I am so pleased with it! It has the convenience of a point-and-shoot, but the versatility of a manual camera that I can carry around all the time! Have had this camera for about 6 months, and use it most days. I am amazed at the image quality, as well as the sturdiness of the camera itself. The video quality is good but not great, and i'm annoyed I cant use RAW files in Aperture as RAW was one of the main reasons for buying this camera. When this is addressed it will really be worth buying, but worth taking into consideration. Read more
