    If you can do without HD video with stereo sound, then the TZ6 is a great alternative to the TZ7. However, the narrow viewing angles on its screen make it very difficult to see if you're holding it above the heads of a crowd. Read more

    The DMC-TZ6 offers a good mix of features, apart from its limited manual control. So, if you’re quite happy for your camera to make most of the shooting settings for you, then this model will deliver the goods under most shooting conditions. If you want HD movies and a few extras, then it’s worth shelling out a bit more the DMC-TZ7.     Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ6 I bought this camera last Summer to upgrade my previous digital camera . I decided on the TZ6 as I mainly want to take photos rather than videos, though it does have the facility if I want to use it. I would have chosen the TZ7 if I was more "into" taking videos.
