The Nikon CoolPix P300 is a 12.2 million megapixel digital camera powered by a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and is supported by a 4.2 X optical zoom, NIKKOR lens with 4.3-17.9mm (angle of view equivalent to that of 24-100mm lens in 35mm [135] format) focal length, f/1.8-4.9 aperture and up to 2X (angle of view equivalent to that of approx. 200mm lens in 35mm [135] format). The camera also features a 3-inch (921k-dot) wide viewing angle TFT LCD monitor with anti-reflection coating and 5-level brightness adjustment, 90 MB internal memory, SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card, ISO 160-3200 sensitivity, Hi-Speed USB interface and is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery that provides users with up to 240 shots or 1 hour 5 minutes of HD 1080p (1920 X 1080) recording. The camera measures 103 X 58.3 X 32 mm and weighs 189g (including battery and SD memory card). It comes with a camera strap, rechargeable Li-ion battery, charging AC adapter, USB cable, audio video cable, lens cap and Nikon ViewNX 2 CD-ROM.

Features

The Nikon CoolPix P300 is a digital camera that features f/1.8 minimum aperture value, and has a high refractive-index lens with an index of 2.0. The lens has a focal length ranging from 24mm wide to 100mm tele and has built-in vibration reduction (VR) function which reduces blur caused by hand-held shooting. It is powered by a backside illumination CMOS sensor, supports recording full HD movies (1920 X 1080 pixels) with stereo sound, and Easy Panorama function for capturing horizontal or vertical panorama photos. The camera also features filter effects such as Cross Screen, Fisheye, Miniature Effect and Painting; a 3-inch (921k-dot) TFT LCD monitor with wide viewing angle; and support for CEC function for HDMI playback control using a TV’s remote control.
