The Nikon Coolpix L2 is a great digital camera choice for anyone that is looking for a camera which has the ability to take good pictures. This is one of the things that CNET likes the most about the camera. According to CNET, even though the LCD on this camera is smaller than that of most, you can still view bright images on the camera majority of the time. They also found the image quality of photos produced from this camera to be extremely good.

Some of the things that Cameras loved about the Nikon Coolpix L2 include the fact that the build of the Nikon Coolpix L2 is sturdy and that the features which it contains are very easy to use. One thing which Cameras disagreed about with CNET is the image quality of the images which it produces. While CNET thought that the image quality was pretty good most of the time, Cameras was very disappointed in the image quality of the Nikon Coolpix L2. They do feel that this camera has the ability to produce good photos, however. While the quality of the images which were taken in outdoor environments or in settings which had a lot of light were pretty good overall, unfortunately, the pictures that were taken in low light settings could have been improved greatly. One of the main things which they actually liked about the camera is the fact that it does have a nice style. So overall, it is safe to say that if you are looking for a camera which has the ability to take good pictures and is also easy to use, the Nikon Coolpix L2 is an excellent choice for you. The Nikon Coolpix L2 is definitely an ideal digital camera for anyone who is looking for a beginner’s camera.

"The Nikon Coolpix L2 looks good and I like the build quality of this camera. It is certainly a step ahead of many similar models. Picture quality is mixed though and I feel there are other six megapixel, point and shoot models offering better value for money." Read more

Clearly, Nikon has cut too many corners with the Coolpix L2. The lens, which delivers good sharpness, is betrayed by strong barrel distortion at wide-angle and a very narrow aperture (F5.3) at telephoto. Combined with a maximum ISO of 200, even this camera's typical 3X optical zoom has limited usability. This camera also lacks control over ISO sensitivity. This is a serious limitation which means the camera chooses the quality of images rather than the user. Given its... Read more

Nikon is one of the proudest names in the camera business, with a range of DSLRs second to none. So we are perplexed. The Coolpix L20 is not a camera to enhance their reputation. It feels insubstantial and cheap. It is lacking in features, such as image stabilisation, that other makers fit into their cheaper cameras. And the wretched LCD makes it almost unusable. For a few dollars more buy the lovely little Canon Ixus 80is. Read more

This camera sucks! The screen died after 10 months. It requires surgeon's hands for the image to come out ok. My daughter hates it. It takes good video. Go for Canon S20 and above instead. Read more

This review is from: Nikon Coolpix L2 Digital Compact Camera (Grey) [6mp, 3 x optical zoom] (Electronics) I have been using one of these little cameras for a while now, and I have been pleasantly surprised by what a 6Mp camera can do. It is a small camera, but handles very well. The controls are easy to see and operate, and the menus are laid out in a logical and easy to understand way. The 3 position mode switch takes you through 'still image', 'scene' and 'movie'. You... Read more

The Nikon COOLPIX L20 digital Camera is the best everyone should have one! I bought mine at Wal*Mart. I love that this camera has a big screen so when you take a picture you can see it without having to squint! But i hate when sometimes it takes a long time to take the picture. Read more

A great camera. I got mine discounted at £110, and the pictures that it takes are amazing. Scene assist works really well and D-Lighting is very handy. RECOMMENDED! Read more
