Although the Kodak EasyShare M883 is satisfying for most entry-level consumers, overall it is somewhat of a disappointment when compared to other digital camera models. For the quality, the price is simply too much. If you are really picky about your cameras, then you definitely need to consider spending an extra $50 on a better camera. If you need something basic yet well-featured, then this model is good for you. Otherwise, we recommend that you shop around. Read more

My friend recently dropped my sony cyber shot and it costed more money to repair than to get a new one. So i went and bought this camera. Compared to my other camera this camera is horrible. The picture quality is digusting, everything is blurry, shiny, and gross! I am returning it RIGHT away, i didn't think a camera could take such horrible pictures but i was proven wrong! Read more

I agree with the others that don't like this camera. I expected so much more for 8mpx and Kodak. Adds too much pink to (white) flesh tones. Using the flash also makes everything look very grany. Read more

Even after reading bad reviews on this product, I decided to try it out because it looked so good on paper. Well this camera is going right back to the store. The picture quality is horrible, worse than my old 4 mega pixel camera. I thought being 8 mega pixels and Kodak, that it would be good. Definitely do not waste your money on this camera!! It has lots of nice features, but if a camera cannot even take a decent picture, what is the point? I tried every setting and... Read more

I bought this camera after being very happy with the two previous Kodak cameras the family has had in the past. Being so small and slim I thought it could be carried around pretty much all the time and in so many aspects this camera fits the bill. It is very small, light, attractive, easy to use and starts up very fast - making it perfect for those 'Quick! Where's my camera?' moments. Sadly, it's let down by one fairly major flaw - it takes truly dreadful pictures. As... Read more

This camera is cute and small, so it is easy to take with you, and it is easy to use, and it has a nice big display screen (3 inches). That being said, it takes horrible pictures, which is much more important. Low light is very grainy, as others have said, and what I really hate is that wide-angle shots really distort at the edges giving a fishbowl appearance. Do NOT waste your money on this camera!
