Rubbish seller

Ashley Hills, Amazon
2 November 2013
  • Summary: Although the product by itself is alright i would not advise buying from media giant. They don't provide you with all of the accesories that are meant to be in the box such as a usb cable needed for charging and when you try to contact them they ignore your first email, send you a hollow offer of a...

Bloggie

R. A. P. Rudd, Amazon
18 September 2012
  • Summary: Two things stand out: a/ the viewfinder screen is very weak and although there is a brighter backlight setting you have to set this each time; i.e. it does not stay on that setting; b/ the camera supplied did not have the 360 lens but as I didn't want this particularly I didn't send the camera back...

Lools_24, Ciao
21 February 2012
  • Excerpt: My parents are very enthusiastic grandparents especially as my boys are there first and only grandchildren. From the day my boys were born I was taking photos as were my parents and my parents would always ask me to ensure on days I out I took lots of photos of my boys to share with them.
  • Pros: Smart looking, lots of features, easy to operate and view footage, clear footage
  • Cons: Expensive, rotating lens difficult to operate, no flash

360 user review

Disappointed 360 user, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: Camera was delivered within a couple of days after purchase. Purchased camera for the 360 function. Quality of images from 360 function very poor. Was very disappointed. The below £100 price does not make up for my disappointment. Software not easy use.

Poor optics and features.

Richard, Amazon
15 March 2011
  • Summary: The mirrored dome is uneven, creating poor image quality in 360 mode. poor light response at higher resolutions, suggest 1080 only for bright outdoor shots only. Viewfinder preview uses half of the screen area, doesn't appear to be a full screen option until playback.

review of SONY Bloggie

J. Duck, Amazon
1 February 2011
  • Summary: I bought this camera in August 2010, shortly after my last surviving Grandparent popped her clogs, in the hope the 360-degree shot feature would help capture a few decent shots of her house before it gets flogged-off.......

Disappointing, given the price

D. H. Arbuthnott, Amazon
17 January 2011
  • Summary: We bought this camera on an Easy Jet flight, without doing proper research, for my daughter. It is an over-priced gimic, with a very short battery life, poor still pictures and complicated to use. The recharger has to be pulled out and is flimsy, the down load cable is complicated to use.

The Sony Bloggie is a fun to use functional camera

Foggy, Amazon
1 January 2011
  • Summary: I had been looking for a quick, easy and ready to use video/still camera to complement my larger more unwealdy video camera, for some time. The Bloggie fills most of my requirements in that: ~ It can rapidly be used from the pocket or a bag without worrying if the lens needs cleaning (this is...
