Summary: I bought this camcorder for a recent holiday having owned many Mini-DV camcorders before. These were getting too bulky to travel with and needed camera bags etc.
Summary: Great wee piece of kit. Don't have a clue how to burn AVCDH files to a disc though. But if you buy a HD cable and play it through a nice telly, the footage looks brill.
Summary: I hesitated between this item and the Sanyo equivalent. I used it for 3 months at which point the shutter failed to open and therefore I was unable to use at all.
Summary: What a fantastic product, easy to use, well made, great video quality, easy to connect to a mac and easy to edit with. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
Grab it, grab it! With hands or a bargepole, grab it!

Summary: Sony's HDR-TG3E camera is a stunning hand held device. I use footage downloaded in its original format, and freely intercut with MPEG footage from my larger Sony video...
Summary: This is probably one of the worst purchases I've ever made. The Camcorder is fine, easy to use, small, compact and does what it says on the tin.
Summary: Make sure you read thoroughly before you purchase, the Camera does do 1920 x 1080, but it is interlaced and not porgressive (1080i, not 1080p) Which is something I missed
