The Samsung VP-D381 is a format camcorder that features a 34 optical zoom and 1200 digital zoom. It records in MiniDV tape format and features 34 x Optical zoom, 1200 x digital zoom, 800k pixel CCD and 2.7” widescreen LCD viewscreen.

The Samsung VP-D381 features a 2.7 “ screen that can be recording in 16:9 format. The 2.7 “ widescreen LCD viewscreen can be used for playback and as a viewfinder. It can record directly to MiniDV format. In addition to this, it includes Digital Image Stabilizer. It features a 800,000 pixel CCD sensor. The Samsung VP-D381 uses a 34x optical zoom. Besides this, it has a voice plus dubbing system to add commentaries to recorded footage. It has a AV composite out and 10 Step power level indicator on the screen. It also includes digital effects such as art, mosaic, sepia or black and white. The FireWire output allows video editing on a computer.
