Summary: I bought this camera for the zoom, so I can capture action shots at distance and the zoom is incredible. The unit I bought was 2nd hand and so far has worked well, occasionally it tells me the SD card is full when it's not but a quick reset usually fixes the problem. It is small, light and I have bought a double sized battery so I can record for longer periods. Touch screen menu function is a bonus. Great little camera.
Summary: Have been using this camera now for a number of years, since purchasing it. Super quality, easy to use, compact and very transportable. Film codec not recognised by all software in the beginning but these days the choice is much bigger and accesable. Love it to bits.
Summary: I picked my SD60 up for £230 from a clearance sale at dixons. So a bargin for me. The camera is great quality and the footage is excellent. Dont be put off by the fact it records at 1080i and not 1080p. This initially put me off but after reading numerous reviews i bit the bullet and bought one.
Summary: My first camcorder and I'm very pleased with it. I wanted something easy to operate that produced excellent video, and this camcorder meets that requirement. I've not used the still picture facility or the advanced functions. Picture quality is excellent outside, but also when used indoors. The image stabilisation works very well even at extended zoom and the autofocus system responds quickly, providing sharp images at all times.
I really like it. Easy to import from SDHC to my iMAC

Summary: In daylight or good lighting and without wind blowing: Excellent camera. The picture (both still and video) comes out perfect! Also the sound! In dark light: OK, but not perfect quality. However, I have only used the auto mode. If you pan with the camera: Not soo good quality. I cut them away when I edit the video on my mac because the video becomes "bumpy". Perfect size! I filmed during 8 days of skiing hoiday and it was so easy to bring the canera in my pocket.
Summary: I wanted to upgrade my 4 year old camcorder and having read umpteen reviews from both professional and amatur commentators I settled for the Panasonic SD60HD as offering the best balance between cost, performance and quality. One will never know if this was the right decision but I have to say that the camcorder does everything that Panasonic claims.
Summary: Superb camera but supplied software is poor. Be warned editing of AVCHD films requires a very powerfull computer with good software. I would suggest AVS video editor this is free but does the job to a good standard.
