Panasonic HDC-SD60 review

29 April 2010
  • Summary: Panasonic has decided to give pocket-sized camcorders a hard time. Its HDC-SD60 keeps things small and simple but adds a sackful of features that its more dinky competitors from Kodak, Flip and Sanyo don’t always include. The HDC-SD60 is part of a trio of mid-range camcorders from Panasonic, which includes the HS60 (120GB HDD + SD card recording) and TM60 (16GB memory + SD card recording).

Panasonic HDC-SD60 camcorder

28 July 2012
  • Conclusion: Even more, it has a fantastic video performance, especially so when you combine that with its price tag. True, it doesn’t exude charisma in the looks and design department but it’s well put together and does what it says on the tin – and does it pretty darn well.

Panasonic HDC 60

3 January 2011
  • Summary: Panasonic's quartet of entry-level HD camcorders--the HDC-HS60, TM60, TM55, and SD60--delivers a nice manual feature set and good performance, as well as solid video quality for their class. As long as you don't pay list price, the SD60 is a great value, and if possible, avoid paying the unnecessary price premium for the hard drive in the HS60.
  • Pros: Manual shutter-speed and iris controls; comfortable size; smarter-than-average autofocus; lens focuses relatively closely; decent battery life.
  • Cons: Soft video; cramped, low-resolution touch screen.

Expert Review

14 December 2010
  • Cons: Risoluzione foto; No memoria interna

28 June 2010
