Hey, I'm looking to purchase the panasonic HDC s60 due to it's price being just inside my budget. I want to use it onstage in live performances, carrying a live feed directly into a TV monitor (aka no recording and editing). Is this possible? Almost to use your tv as an external viewfinder? Or do you always have to record footage first? Thanks!

Ihave turned it up to max on the display but still quiet. Is there any way to increase the volume or fit an external mic??

I have just bought a Panasonic HDC SD60, which takes fantasctic High Def footage, and plays back the scenes seemlessly from the camera. The problem is that after using the supplied software to convert to MPEG2 and burn the movie to a DVD on a PC, the resulting DVD does not play back seamlessly on a DVD player - the picture freezes for a couple of seconds in between scenes. What can I do? Would a different conversion/burning software package do better? When playing the DVD back on a Sony DVD recorder, it is obvious the supplied software has recorded each scene as a separate title.

I had to buy a panasonic sdhc video card to use on my Panasonic SD60 camcorder as it would not operate with any other makes of the sdhc video cards. I found it kept telling me to formatt them. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I seem to have overcome it by buying the camera brand, which has been more costly. Hope this
